Created just for fun (for Apple iMessage), these expressive characters were designed for users to playfully show how they feel to keep conversations light. Download it in the Apple app store and tell me what you think!

Creative Process
Brainstorm explored possible character personas with pen and paper. Created a list of possible emotions to portray. Got loose by doodling a ‘blob template’. Tested various blob shapes by filling it with facial features and determined how movement would be incorporated.
Digitized the sketches on with the Procreate App. Traced over the sketches with a digital brush and finalized the characters.
